Some practical information on the convention

By train

Take the train towards Lausanne.

  • From Geneva: the trip last ~40min and costs ~20chf per person in 2nd class.
  • From Zürich: the trip last ~2h10min and costs ~70chf per person in 2nd class.

Switzerland Map

By public transportation

From the Lausanne train station with a ticket valid for 2 zones (Sfr 3), take the M2 metro towars Croisettes and get off at the Flon station (it is the 1st station). Then take the M1 metro towards Renens CFF et get off at EPFL (it is the 9th station). Follow the directions, you are only 2min away from the entrance.

For those who are taking the bus, you can also get off at the Piccard station which is located just in front of the entrance ;-)
