Atelier Taiko Lausanne : Taiko Initiation

Perhaps you’ve already seen a demonstration of taiko, the famous Japanese drums, and marveled at the power and energy of the sounds they produce. Well, why not wield the sticks yourself to recreate those mesmerizing rhythms at Japan Impact? 🥁

With Atelier Taiko Lausanne, plunge into the heart of this traditional art! The activity begins with an introduction to the history of taiko, followed by a warm-up. You’ll then learn the basics: positioning, holding the sticks, striking techniques and essential rhythms.

To finish on a high note, you’ll play a collective piece in a Matsuri style, a rhythmic and unforgettable experience where the energy of the group will thrill you!
