Come and discover the behind-the-scenes production of this iconic alcoholic beverage, steeped in symbolism, and immerse yourself in the traditions that accompany it. Associated with Shinto deities and the imperial court for centuries, it became popular after the Second World War, becoming an integral part of Japanese life before being exported to the rest of the world and, once again this year, to Japan Impact through this conference!
Conference and tasting
On Saturday 14 February at 4pm, Foodex will lead a conference on the art of sake, from its production to its tasting.
For those of legal drinking age, put your newly acquired knowledge of the art of tasting and appreciating this product of Japanese culture into practice at the end of the conference.
